You can purchase a ticket from the Marin Airporter web ticketing system.

Go directly to tix.marinairporter.com in your mobile browser or go to our Marin Airporter home page (marinairporter.com) and follow the links to purchase your ticket.

After you register and log in, choose a ticket and complete the purchase by following the instructions. The payment is made through a secure and certified external service /PCI-compliant/.

Your ticket will then be emailed as a PDF file to the email address you provided when creating your account.

When you board the Marin Airporter bus use your smartphone to open the PDF ticket file or if you prefer you can print the ticket at home ahead of time so that you can scan it by paper.

Download the MARIN AIRPORTER app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Open the app and go to the Tickets tab.

Choose a ticket and follow the instructions.

Users need to be logged in to their account to view their tickets. If you haven’t registered in the app yet, you will be prompted to do so using your email or a Google, or Apple account.

After you have logged in successfully, you can complete the purchase with a debit, credit, or pre-paid card payment. The payment is made through a secure and certified external service /PCI-compliant/.  Your purchase will show up on your mobile device and you will be all set to ride.

If you purchased your ticket from the web portal and you have received a PDF file with a QR code, you can open the PDF ticket on your smartphone and point its QR code at the camera located at the back of the tablet validator onboard the Marin Airporter. If you prefer you can print the ticket at home ahead of time so that you can scan it by paper.

If you purchased your ticket from the mobile app, open it, navigate to the Tickets tab and select the ticket. Point its QR code at the camera located at the back of the tablet validator onboard the shuttle.

You can buy your ticket from the driver, but they only accept cash fares. If you need a receipt, please ask the driver in advance to print one for you. If you prefer to use your bank/credit card, you can buy your ticket via the web portal or the mobile app.

Yes, you can purchase multiple tickets via the app and the web portal and validate them on the same trip.

Tap on the “Buy Fares” tab on the Web Portal or the “Buy Tickets” tab on the mobile app, and then on the profile icon in the top right corner. Then you can create an account by choosing one of the options – either with an email, by Google, or Apple account.

You can purchase a Commuter Book 30-Ride Pass with a reduced price only from the mobile application once you have registered your account. This 30-Ride Pass is only valid for one person and with every ride the number of trips left will automatically decrease. The Commuter Book is only valid for 4 months after the first ticket is used.

The mobile application needs access to your GPS location for accurate data.

You will still be able to travel with already purchased tickets and validate such, but if you need to do a purchase – an internet connection is required.

You can simply log in the mobile application using your original login details. Please note that you cannot use the mobile application with the same account on two devices at once.

No, the mobile app and the web portal will not store your credit card details.
